In this seminar on 14 August 2015, Ms. Patrea Pabst, Partner of Pabst Patent Group, gave an overview on what is the idea of Intellectual Property (IP) and explain how to protect the IP rights of the technologies and the inventions. Ms. Pabst then explained different types of IP, which include patent, trademark, copyright and trade secrets, with some examples of Patents in China and United States. Her colleague, Dr. Yvonne Shyntum, also explained how to use contracts (e.g. Non-Disclosure Agreement / Confidential Disclosure Agreement) to protect IP.
